Water Race ChampionshipBuffalo, OH – The sounds of pneumatic drills and diesel-engine backhoes are splitting the quiet of rural Guernsey County this summer, but the baying of hounds and the cheers of the crowds will be making all the noise come October when the AKC World Water Race Championship comes to call. Promoter Danny Gatrell and the Valley View Coon Club are building a state-of-the-art water race pond, complete with starting tower and bleachers at the Valley View Trade Days complex in Buffalo and will have the water race facility ready in time for the World Championship. Here’s the scoop: AKC World Championship Coonhound Water Race AKC-licensed Sunday, October 2nd, 2005 Entry Deadline - 10:00 AM (Local time) At the beautiful new custom Valley View Coon Club Water Race Facility Located at the Valley View Trade Days Grounds “An American Kennel Club Licensed Coonhound Club” Buffalo, Ohio (Just 2 hours from the AKC World Hunt in Chillicothe. Attend both events!) Money Water Race (70% payback after license fees) World Champion Line and World Champion Tree Winners to share purse World Champion Line and Tree Winners tto run off for overall AKC World Water Race Champion!
